Hello OS, the GRIDIRON league is calling for all sim PS3'ers to tryout for our 22nd season. We are currently in our 21st season, and looking to expand with the simmest talent the PS3 has to offer. If you have been looking to get you football fix, but can't find a league that can keep the lights on. Then look no further! Then the GRIDIRON league is your answer. Sim play, active members, photos, awards, and most importantly GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP!All candidates will have to play at least 2 scrimmage games against a current GRIDIRON member, before being approved for league-entry. This league is by far the best PS3 league I have ever seen. EB does a great job with his leagues and the competition in them are top notch. I don't have a PS3 and have never played in his league but coming from someone who has created many leagues and have been in many than this league is for you if you have a PS3!

I want in but need more info. Lobby games are driving me crazy. I left the game alone for a few months to play The Show and I'm back in the past few weeks but am tired of 7ft, 400lb speedburners with Hops at WR.

Whats the next move? Whats your gamertag online?

You won't get any of those kind of players in his league. If you want some background on there league here is a link to there thread on the 2K forums. Beware there is over 18,000 post in this thread. That is how long it has been going LOL.

This league is well established and has been going on so long they have there own League Anthem. Here is Ebineezer himself with the lyrics that makes you wonder if he is secretly a rapper. This is not the cheesy kind of rap either. Look for the Gridiron Anthem but my favorite is the 2K Anthem simply because he inserts my name in his rap

Yeah Hitman I signed up today on your site! For all who are interested, go to the 2K forums and post in our league thread. We have a spot open for the season we are currently in. Go to the link Hitman posted above. Post "Scrimmage" in the subject line of your post in our thread, and someone will respond to play you in a lobby game. Once you play 2 current GRIDIRON Members and they can approve your gameplay as sim, you could be applicable for our next open spot. If you are not selected for the current spot, we are looking to expand and eventually get to 16 extremely active sim ballers. The main thing we are looking for in the GRIDIRON league, is sim ballers with upper echelon sportsmanship, and character. If you are a hot-headed drama king, no need in applying. Good luck fellas!

I would love to play in a sim league. I love APF 2k8 and I have never played online. Although, I would love to know what are considered some of the cheese moves and what the general rules are. I play almost 100% of my games against the computer and I usually play on All-Pro. I have tried some slider adjustments in the past but I find that All-Pro is fine with me. I don't like gimmick plays and I try to utilize a good run/pass offense. I like to see realistic stats and I hate when a game turns into a shootout. Most games in the NFL are closer than people realize. Average margin of victory throught the regular season is somewhere around 8 or 9 points if I remember correctly. Anyway, my PS3 ID is: dj360-iNf1 and I will try to get online and get in those scrimmages to see if I fit the bill. Please PM me or reply to this post with the rules and info I inquired about. Thanks.
