I don't post here often, but I had to post this. Last night in a multiplayer co-op game, the CPU lined up to punt. The bad snap sailed over his head, he ran to go pick it up, then got off a partially blocked punt:

I'd seen a couple snaps go over the punter's head before, but he's never actually had time to pick it up and then punt it away. Pretty cool touch.

Here's another one. This was from practice, as you can see two players lined up offside. I was playing as my created Washington Sentinels team, and backup QB Eddie Martel breaks two tacklers, then gets hit and somehow lets off a perfect pass while sliding mid-air:

So what are some of your strangest plays you've seen in APF 2K8?

My team plays with a lot of emotion and it costs us sometimes.

If I was the D on that second play, I would have lost it! Nothing but blitz after a play like that, what a beast.

That's terrific. The strangest thing that happened to me was once, on my Raiders CAP team, after getting sacked on first and throwing deep incomplete on second, I got out of the pocket with Russell and I was waiting around for someone to get open... and just launched it... two people tipped it and Curry ended up catching it.

Unfortunately, it was halftime immediately after that and we weren't in great field position.

The great thing about it was that I had done basically the same thing on second down, but it was incomplete.

Good times.
