Yes. Created players (CAPs).

Re: The NFL on APF2K8 (some photos)

I was through about 8 teams when I realized that the uniform codes weren't working. I've tried a million times, but nothing ever seems to work. I think I had some pretty great uniforms going. It felt so good playing with the Buffalo Bison (i.e. Buffalo Bills)!

I wish 2K Sports would've allowed an unlimited (or at least very high) number of CAP's and Created Teams, among other things. They limited everything so much in this game, seemingly moreso then their regular games with the licenses. The one game where customization would be critical to keeping the game going and they fall on their face. I'm sure this same tune has been sang over and over around here, but it's just very discouraging and disappointing that they couldn't give us full control. Because the play on the field is top notch.

You CAN have (almost) unlimited saved teams and CAPs.

Yeah, I read about that. But it's such a hassle especially since you can't even name roster files (PS3). When I was making my jerseys, I had to memorize each roster by the date it was saved. Tedious as hell.

You can name roster files on the PS3. You can make the Saints with 11 CAPs and similar uniforms and save your roster file as ’09 Saints.

Hmmm... maybe I'm mistaken. I'll have to take another look and maybe give the uniforms another go around. Still, it's a hassle to have to manipulate the game to get what should have been there in the first place (unlimited CAP/CAT).

My uniform codes still never worked. Even ones that I had generated myself, copied down, and tried to put back in...

Yeah, I'm on APF2k8 right now and I don't see where I can name my roster files.

Options >> Load / Save >> Save Roster. Then it just prompts me to save my roster, never giving me an option to name the file.
