Getting a user-controlled INT?

Has any of you guys ever gotten a user-controlled pick? I found it to be much easier to do this in NFL2K5 than here on APF2K8.

Controlling a CB or a SS was a lot more responsive in 2K5. In APF, it felt really slippery.

Any tips on how to effectively change the controls or settings so that it almost emulates 2K5's settings?

User controlled picks are real easy on this game....I find myself averaging atleast 1 user pick a game...My all time high in one game was 5. The best thing I can tell you is to pay attention to the routes your opponent is running...I can almost always read the play within one second of the ball being snapped. There's a handful of plays on this game that are used way to much, read the play and jump the most common route on that play. You gotta learn to switch defenders immediately after the ball is snapped.

Dont run all over the field. Keep your guy under control and dont expect to jump an out route and then jump back and cover the post.You pay for missteps in this game alot. In 2k5 it was to easy to get out of position then recover when really you were beat. It used to drive my friend nuts how much ground i could cover when even i felt it was cheap how bad i could mis judge something and not pay for it.

Wow touche.

2k5 was indeed really easy to to regain control after misjumping a route, this game makes you pay!!

@FreakishMind
I understand the whole switch defenders thing, but I like playing either CB or SS from the beginning when I'm on defense. Jumping the routes at the right time is siiiick.

Especially when your gold players are on the D-Line. Deacon + Bob Lilly = Pressure and easier sacks = easier INTs
