Just saw an amazing play.

So, since Sony once again screwed the pooch and didn't release the Backbreaker demo yesterday I went back and am playing some APF to tide me over until next Tuesday (Backbreaker's retail release) and I just saw an incredible play that I have never seen anything like before.

Here's the situation, 3rd and 7 from my opponent's 22 yard line. I call a shotgun rollout pass and a blitzing OLB to the playside come free at my QB. I set up and toss it deep to Dwight Clark, but the SS jumps up to make the INT. He misses and bounces the ball over to the FS who goes for the pick, he misses and the ball falls. It's about to his the ground as Clark dives in, makes the catch and then twists his body to put the ball over the plane for the TD. If that's not clutch I don't know what is.

Dwight Clark is clutch. Two days ago, I threw up a Hail Mary Pass to end the 1st half from about the 50 (close to my own 40 from where the pass was thrown, from Len Dawson). First off, I was happy I could get enough time to even throw it that far. Anyway, it was intended for Ernest Givens but it was tipped by a defender, Givens gets knocked the F out, another defender tips it off his shoulder, and then Clark swoops by and snags it out of midair as it's about waist level from the ground.

Gave me a 10 point lead at the half. I went on to win 30-17.
