I'm pretty sure Finn can do some wonders with this. The game takes up so little memory compared to other games that I think there is ALOT he can do with it. Not in a rush though...I've been playing this game for 3 years like it is; a couple of more months isn't going to kill me.

Either way, I think the biggest things an editor would have to do is:

1. Remove roster restrictions for created teams (ie. 2 golds, 3 silver, 6 bronze)

2. Change the ratings, names, numbers, and appearance of the players on the rosters in the season file.

If we could find out a way to access and modify all player ratings (including generics) it'd be a huge step towards recreating the current NFL. It'd be very cool to respect the game's tier system, but modify ratings within it to represent current athletes.

In doing this... I would like to know what leadership exactly does too... (the age-old unanswerable question). DOES IT STACK?! lol

Do we even know if Finn is working on one? If he doesn't make one, is there anyone out there with enough know-how to do it? It would be awesome if possible.

I don't know if he's making one. But, there are people out there with enough know how to make one because I have seen so many game editors out there for the more popular games like GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, etc.. They probably have no interest in a game like APF2k8 or head coach, but I'm sure if we make it worth their effort they would do it. We just need to find these people.

One other thing came to mind too, if you can get the ratings then we should be able to see once and for all whether all the generics are actually the same.
