Re: How to edit All Pro Football

Quick question:

1) I have created 11 players in my roster file. I am trying to find them in the hex.

Will the 11 CAPs all be lumped together one after the other in the hex file or are they randomly mixed in with the other generics on that team?

Also:

I found an online decimal --> hexadecimal convertor:

http://easycalculation.com/decimal-converter.php

That should help those of us not versed in hex code.

Whatever your player's uniform number is, multiply that by two for the "decimal" number. The convertor should spit out the hex code you're looking for at "uniform number" in the hex roster file.

I wish I knew what was going on here. I'm so clueless when it comes to this stuff. Good luck guys and can't wait to hear what you come up with.

Re: How to edit All Pro Football

I finally found my CAPs!

First one in my roster file starts at:

00082DE0

The CAPs are then listed in the hex in the order they appear when I go into APF and look at the "edit player" tab.

That hex convertor I linked to makes reading numbers so much easier.

I gave Bronze Matt Stafford rocket arm, leadership, and pocket presence, so I am off and running!

Also, I was looking at the hex code for my bronze CAP CB who has ballhawk.

Each of his thirteen ability slots was coded 00.

So that means ballhawk has to be one of those 00s, right?

We'd just need to do some trial and error to figure out which slot the 00 code for ballhawk belongs to.

I doubt it works like that...then every generic would have the ballhawk attribute.

Re: How to edit All Pro Football

Every time I edit. There's always one created player I cannot find.
This time I tried making all new profile with just 11 created players.
Still can't find the last player.
Ok, anyone else having this problem or know what I'm doing wrong?

Re: How to edit All Pro Football

Created players in the hex should be listed in the same order as they are on your Xbox 360 when you go through the "edit player" tab.

There might be a couple of generics in between them, but you can easily sort out the generics from the CAPs in the hex file.

CAPs will always have 05 as the first value for the blue strip right before the green block of facial structure data.

Generics and roster players seem to be either 00, 01, 04, 80 or 84.

Also, what is a good alternative to Modio for rehasing and resigning files?

I don't like Modio since it keeps crashing on me.
