APF2K8 Roster Editor in the works

I think this speaks to being something user friendly. I'm really not interested in taking a crash course in learning the hex editor, but a Windows type program I would do. I'd even donate something for it as I would/have for Finn's editor in the past.

yea i'm down to donate too. and yea the roster editor just makes hex editing user friendly. instead of going thru a hex editing program and editing all those characters, the roster editor will do it for you behind the scenes depending on what abilities/colors/equipment/etc you choose to change using the editor

I will donate, but Im not a fan of the idea of putting some kind of limit on the number of abilities. If I want to give pass rushers a ton of abilities to actually make them effective, I should be able to do that. The limits are the same thing that pissed me off in the inital release of apf 2k8. i dont really have any interest in playing online, i want this for season mode.

Does anyone know if this editor will include the ability to edit the "hidden ratings" for all created and generic players? As a matter of fact will we be able to edit generics overall as well? Thanks for any information anyone can give me!

I totally agree, that was the main problem with the game, all the editing and creative restrictions. Why shouldn't somebody be allowed to give Peyton manning or tom Brady 6 or 7 abilities, they deserve it.

Not everybody plays online.

Beggars can't be choosers, guys. If you want to be able to give your guys 6 or 7 abilities, fine. Do it yourself in the Hex editor.
