It seems that this has been given up on but I'm in a football mood and have been editing the rate sports roster. But It's gonna take forever to change some of the names of players who changed teams. Is there anyway that you Finn could add the ability to change names in the editor? Because for now I have to go in Hex and make the player editable to change them and it's just guessing because I don't know which legend or generic they changed to make the real NFL player.

the editor download is corrupt any other links or updates?

Did you try to download in IE? I think that you have to download in FF or Chrome.

this is a very popular thread....but has anyone posted any roster updates since Finn posted the editor? not seeing any.....would love a 2K12 roster! Who wants to come together to make this and furter rosters happen! he blessed us with a great program! lets put it to real use!!

I am working on a 2011 edition of the AFC West right now.

Things I am hex editing:

Team Cities
Team Names
Stadium names/text descriptions
11 "star" players per team (realistic abilities, not the default per-tier limits)
Realistic gold/silver/bronzes allocations (not the default 2/3/6 setup)
29 additional generic players per team (some with abilities)

I just figured out how to edit stadium names and their written descriptions without making the stadiums crash! It's kind of tricky. Took me a day of trial and error lol

I'm not sure how I will do the additional generic players to fill out a 40-man roster for each team.

I've done 40-man teams before (see the roster sub-forum) by altering the default generic players in the game, but it eventually screws up the name database as you add more altered generics to the file. Plus some generics will end up on multiple teams since there's only so many to go around.

I may try editing the in-game legends instead and see what happens.

Its a shame, there were people who hexed but made SUPER TEAMS.. This is Wrong!! Why cant people do Like Weeman 33 is?
There are those of us who would Love to know how to Hex but cant, so Thank You Weeman 33..
