Just looking at the bruteforce interface, I would imagine it's as simple as decrypting the file, making whatever changes you want to the file in HxD, then encrypting the file once you're done.

The only thing that could theoretically get in the way of that process is if you're working with a save file that's assigned to someone else's profile. But this guy has an easy-to-follow tutorial on how to change the assigned profile on a save via bruteforce, if necessary:

Again though, I can't speak from experience on PS3. But the interface seems pretty straightforward.

Have you figured it out yet? I'm still trying to figure out how to use this dang thing on All Pro Football 2K8. I don't see how flipmode got it so easily.

i clicked decrypt and then i looked at the offsets it looked nothing like the offsets in the picture of the tutorial. When i verified decrypted it went red please tell me you know how to do it.

Does anyone know the offsets for the legends in unedited roster files? I would like to create a league of all fictional players, but I can't seem to find a reliable method of isolating all the legend profiles in the roster file.

Do you mean the legends that are on the 24 CPU teams?

Those start at offset 0000D180 with Mark Smith of the Scorpions.

You will know you've found a legend player if they are showing player code 04 and have some abilities along the ability strip.
