how to play vs. a created team

I'm new to this game, and wanted to give it a try. I love it so far, but I can't figure out how to play against a created team. I made a team of former eagles players and a team of former cowboy players and want to match them up, but can't do it for some reason. Any help??

Can't be done in single player. Sorry chief. The only way I believe (correct me if i'm wrong) is if it is in a 2 player game.

It can be done. You just start as if your playing a 2 player game and then once the game loads, pause and move controller 2 off the team you want the cpu to use.

It turns off the milestones and trophies when you do this, but that's it.
