How much Time?

After the 1st of the year I am thinking of buying a 360 and apf 2k8.
I have it for Ps3 but want to edit the teams.
Using the Hex editor, how much time would it take for me to lets say Edit a team to make the 86 Giants? Week? Now Im talking changing every player to the real players of 86 NY..

I would use both a Hex & Flynn's APF editors. Those are what I used to make 76 Steelers. To be fair I didn't create the whole roster. Just the starters & back ups for certain positions (like WRs/DBs/TEs). I think it took me few days total.

Thanks,,, WOW In order to make 25 teams I guess it would take months.. You know, its a shame when the people found out about the hex they went crazy and made Super teams instead of using it like it should have been used, like an editor to make Real teams..
Seems most left 2k8 because of it..
To me Still the Best ONFIELD playing game..
Just wondering,, using the hex,, what do you change? Speed, Agility, catching and stuff like that? Like 2k5 or Madden?

For most stuff it's easier to change in Flynn's editor. I actually don't use the hex editor for much lately. I had to use hex to edit QB's throwing motion.

You can change pretty much everything about any player.

Name, physical appearance, abilities, attributes, animation packages, etc.

And You can make full roster teams? Not just 11 stars..?
.. Im am one who wants REAL On field gameplay.. I dont mean controller play, I mean cpu play, me watching 2 teams, Lets say 66 Packers vs 85 Bears and the gameplay real.. 2k5 is ok but to me 2k8 is the ONLY game that Plays real.. So its worth the work, yes lots of work but worth it..
Now I just need to get a 360..

It's pretty easy to make a full team of 40 players. Only takes me about a day or two to make a full team.

But once you start making multiple teams with the editor, the player names database gets FUBAR.

So basically, you just want to make separate save files for each 40-man team.

I have a few teams posted in the roster forum if you want to see an example.
