I was able to paste U.S.E.R.-.o...S.a over the O-Shotgun playbook and it worked. It changed the gunslingers and Iron men playbook to mine. It must have 3 periods in between the next word. And if you go in te game and change the plays in your book it doesn't edit the CPU teams book, they stay how they were when you hex edited them.

Great find! So, it looks like we can make the cpu teams have 7 new playbooks. Hopefully, we can eventually find a way to unlink the teams from the same playbook, but this is great news all by itself.

Well, it looks like you can't replace all the playbooks with 7 different user created playbooks. Once you change O-Shotgun to USER-o, your playbook at that time will replace the shotgun playbook. If you then try to edit your user playbook and then replace O-West Coast with USER-o, it would go to the same user playbook that replaced O-Shotgun.

The good news is that when you unlock a CPU team, you can now edit the location of the logos, the numbers, the logo is on the helmet or not, the stadiums, the city, and the team names.

I thought I'd bump this thread up because I had a question regarding playbooks.

I don't know if anyone can help me because I can't figure out what exactly is going wrong.

I've been working on my 1960-1982 Classic Teams roster and have come to the part where I'm trying to replace the CPU playbooks with my own. I've been putting in 'U.S.E.R.-.o...S.a.' over 'O.-.S.h.o.t.g.u.n.' like I've done in the past. It's not glitching out, but it is only showing the user playbook that is standard when creating a new team. It is not using the one I've custom built. When I first did this on a different roster file over a year ago, it copied my custom playbook over just fine. I'm really getting frustrated with this problem and would appreciate any ideas on how to go about fixing this.

I downloaded the roster file and i can say is WOW . I had a blast I was the ravens vs bengals, All pro setting fast speed. Had to lower the speed to normal fast felt too fast lol. Close game i won 21 to 16 and i had a block extra point. Back and forth fun game. Only thing i would change is , i would give dline men pass rush moves like swim, and so on. Can't wait for your next roster file
