Help with online cheaters!

just started playing this game online (yea i'm late to the party) man do these people cheat! How do you stop: 1. outside linebacker blitz straight through defensive line! 2.field goal block cheat!

#1: Don't know what you're talking about, but you can throw passes over the blitzes with short passes and lineup in shotgun(maybe 1 or 2 rb) to counter this. West coast offense has helped me with Johnny U, Don Maynard, and Dwight Clark along with the bronze back(any for that matter)

#2: If you're extra close(e.g. maybe a 30 yard field goal), you can try to make your kick higher(way higher than usual). This is a temporary fix and this "cheat" has been fixed to the point where it only occurs maybe 20 percent of the time.

Don't know what to tell you, but suck it up as there have been a bunch of "cheaters" and cheese teams over the years so it's best to check the guy's roster before you're left disappointed because you just played against some neanderthal cheesehead. Watch out for anyone who loads up unnecessarily on secondary like raiders81tim and sirlynx. AVOID these guys like the plague.

The blitzing isn't cheating you just suck and need to practice. I assume you're talking about the 5-2 blitz. If they're bringing 6 or 7 blitzers and you only have 5 lineman blocking ... you will most likely get sacked--it's simple math.
Set up your audibles so that you have a play that will beat the blitz vs all formations.

Here's how you beat it:

1. Shotgun formation and get rid of the ball quickly on a slant route, the middle will be open
2. Any formation with both RBs blocking--still get rid of the ball quick
3. A power running formation, run a stretch play
4. A quick screen play, especially out of Shotgun

i'm talking about a 4-3 blitz. and once the play starts the user controls the left outside linebacker and waits until the defensive line engages the offensive line and shoots the gap. its a sack every time!!

Yeah manually blitzing players can get a little cheesy in this game due to how easy it is to come through the line unblocked.

Most leagues I've played in banned manual pass rushing for anyone but a defensive lineman.
