Can I still get the patch?

I'm interested in getting this game, but I read on another forum that it might not be possible to get the title update for this game anymore. The poster mentioned that defensive audibles caused his game to freeze. Is this true, or if I bought the game, would the title update still be available? Also, does the title update fix the defense audible freezing issue the other forum member mentioned?

Edit: I got the game, and the patch was still available. I haven't tested out defense audibles yet, as I only played a little, setting up my team and playing a little offense practice, but hopefully it's not an issue.
