AGS - Around The League (General Discussion)
Here you can talk about anything under the moon from real Sports news, to how your season is going as well as things you think can improve the league. It all goes here to prevent cluster bombs of info where it's not relevant.Red Zone

Re: AGS - Around The League (General Discussion)
I am all for people policing their own play when it comes to the rules as most people know what sim football is. Only suggestion I would have is maybe a 4th down rule. I think itll save a lot of confusion and complaints down the road.Comment

Don't know where to post it but here it goes: we need a trading block topic to start negotiations. I have some things to offer to change my Ravens, trading some guys I don't want. Nothing big, but I think it will be cool.Comment

Re: AGS - Around The League (General Discussion)
Hi folks,
A few questions following a chat in GroupMe today. I would lie to get a few more details on the FA rules.
The Rules have the following statement:
This post deals with FA since we are first starting the league there will be a decent FA pool. To begin year 1 there will be a 1 round FA draft to give everyone a fair shot to claim the player they want. After that use FA to flex up your roster to 75 and play ball
1) Do we plan to start the league with EA 75 roster or the 53 players roster of NFL week 1 ? (looking at the mention above I assume the 53 but would be good to get a clarification).
2) Regarding the very first FA (the FA that we will have before the start of the Season 1)
Will we use the NFL draft order (so for instance Jags will pick 3rd) ?
Then since there is only one round of FA draft, can we sign more than 1 player ? If yes it would be good to clarify the rules (first come first serve or ...).
3) Now regarding off season post draft FA
In a normal off season we have the FA, then the draft but then after the draft Madden moves to pre-season.
Then based on the chat we had today we said that in pre season, the FA would be on a "first come first serve basis", with the restriction to sign only one player of 75ovr or more.
I believe if those rules are confirmed that it would beter to update the rules accordingly.
Thank you for your help.2025 Miami Marlins

IN THE RULES. FIRST LINE: FA is a free for all until week 1
Yes that means first come first serve.
THERE WILL BE 75 MEN ON EACH TEAM LIKE THERE IS ANYTIME YOU START A CFM MODE.
THE DRAFT ORDER IS LIKE THE NFL DRAFT SO YEA THE JAGS HAVE THE THIRD PICK. THAT HAS BEEN STATED MULTIPLE TIMES. I believe that if you would LISTEN and READ THINGS BEFORE YOU POST. YOU WOULD SEE THIS POST IS IRRELEVANT.Build The Monster

Re: AGS - Around The League (General Discussion)
Or improve it?
To the league rules, the only amendment I would add is to the fourth down rule. On fourth and 1 or less, styled as Fourth and Goal, it isn't terribly uncommon for teams to try to score as early as the first drive (the 2003 Patriots 31-0 loss to the Bills comes to mind). Thanks to LBzrules: So these threads won't be forever lost.
