Cody Cantrell had a successful debut as head coach following a 39-3 blowout victory vs a CPU Falcons team due to Coach ATLSAGE not being able to attend the game due to disclosed reasons.
His impact on the team was immediately felt as he made a number of depth chart moves. Promoting RB David Wilson to starter even after a strong start to the season by Rashad Jennings. And also promoting 2nd year TE Adrien Robinson to starter.
Cantrell's comments on the moves. "I feel like these two guys, give us the best chance at success not only now but in the future. I see a ton of potential in both these guys and want to get them as many snaps as possible to develop them even more."
Well those moves seemed to pay off as Wilson lead the Giants to victory behind a strong 176 yard and 1 TD game. Robinson even had an impact leading all receivers in yards with 90. Despite a awful performance by Eli Manning.
Look for even more changes immanent, as Cantrell mentioned giving Nassib the nod under center versus the upcoming Eagles squad.
