Worth it??

well it seems Madden 25 isn't anything different and not a big fan of 2k5.
I have Loved the on field play of 2k8 but I only have a PS3..
I Love Old teams and want to make them thru the editor and hex teams.
With all the work, is it worth it? Making 22 caps and so on, is it worth it?

I would say this much before the HEX I was up many nights creating team after team and trying to find the long and I do mean long uniform codes through out the community. So I would start with one division and make every team they would play that season. So in my eyes for a few $$ and some time I enjoyed it then and really enjoy playing it now. So to me it is worth it for the cost.

Yea I seen a video of the 70's Steelers vs the 70's Cowboys and its got me fired up for 2k8 again.. I would Love to get a 360 and edit and make 32 Great Teams. Im just hoping it wont take me a year to make them..

word is that the XBOX360 will be slashing the cost of the 360 to 100-150 dollars for the basic models.
Im waiting for the price cut just to pick one up. if I cant wait Illbuy a used one they go for 120. I have a hard time justifying this purchase, but I know I will cave in cause, I found an XBOX360 copy of AFP2k8 for 1.99 at gamestop. so I bought it.
I wont get the new consoles till maybe next year.
I als have the PS3 version. I created my Patriots with just the top players, cant edit/ or create the entire roster.

Ok,, How hard Is it to Hex?

It's easy to change everything but player names.

I still haven't figured out a good way to change player names without screwing up the game file.

I thought Finns editor made this all easy?

The PC editor allows you to change pretty much everything except player names.
