Best All-Time Teams

I've got two teams that I really play with, both based on my favorite teams as a Cali kid: the 49ers (until they release Lott) and the Raiders (after they signed Lott, lol). To keep it true, I only allowed myself to take players who played on those teams. Here they are:

Raiders/ 49ers
Marcus Allen/ Joe Montana
Willie Brown/ Ronnie Lott
Jack Tatum/ Brent Jones
Lester Hayes/ Roger Craig
Ken Stabler/ Chris Doleman
Otis Wilson/ Guy Macintyre
Brad Van Pelt/ Tom Rathman
Ray Guy/ John Taylor
Steve Wisnewski/ Dwight Clark
Willie Gault/ Gary Plummer
Cliff Branch/ Ken Norton, Jr.

I've had some pretty good success with both teams, even though they're not as balanced as I'd ideally like them to be. I'm curious if anyone else has built similar squads based exclusively on their favorite teams. If you have, post away, and let me know what you think of them.

Re: Best All-Time Teams

Thanks for the thread link. It's definitely tough trying to build teams from the players in the game alone, but I'm sticking with it just so I don't get flack online; several people flat out refuse to play vs. caps, and the PS3 pool is so small that limiting it for that reason doesn't seem doable.

I put together a Steelers team and really like it; it's probably the most balanced in terms of position distribution. I also did the Browns, Lions, Cowboys, Redskins, and Dolphins. I think a Packers team can be done with the original rosters as well.

I hope we get a sizable infusion of new legends next time around, if indeed they continue to go down that road.
