so we cant have both the current NFL teams, and these historic teams at the same time right?

we have to choose one or the other? just want to make sure

You can absolutely mix and match.

All you have to do is

1. load up Finn's editor with our historic rosters,

2. export the historic teams you like - one at a time to your save folder

3. then load the current roster file in the editor

4. bring up the team you want to replace
(say you want to replace the current Bears with the '85 Bears then bring up the bears)

5. import the Bears team file that you exported from the historic file into the current Bears slot, and

6. viola, you have both.

note- make sure when you are in the editor that the historic teams and current teams have similar attribute ratings...otherwise it won't be balanced.

On some of the teams there are some players with only 1 letter as a first name. Have you seen this?

Yes they are generally the bottom roster guys that will not play outside of special teams, like backup offensive linemen, etc., are abbreviated with first initial only. All starters and primary backups have full names.

Making many global changes to the attribute ratings due to Greathouse, but nothing I can do about the dropsies.
Tested Patriots vs. Rams and even Torry Holt and Wes Welker drop the ball while holding LT down on the controller.
NM will have to release a second patch to fix this.
