How hard could it be to have formation substitutions in the pause menu ? We had it on Sega Genisis, PS1, Xbox and PS2; why don't we have them yet for the Xbox 360 and PS3 ?
I'm not a programmer so I can not answer that...

They would have switched team (You are aware this years team isn't the same as previous years?) a lot earlier if there was competition.

If I hear that one more time I'm going have a stroke; this is the same team minus David Ortiz. Ian has been working for Tiburon for 7 years.

Ian is the lead designer this year though. Yeah he was on the team when the cheesy stuff was in the game. Now that he and Phil are head of the team, they are taking strides for a more realistic game. They still have a long way to go, but can you honestly tell me this years version is not a long long stride past what Ortiz did in his 4 years? Or 3 years, whatever....

When you change the LEADER it's not the same team or same team philosophy....

Exactly. Madden 10 is certainly a major improvment over 1 year and I give props to Ian and team for that. The key thing is going from where they are now and improving upon that. We'll see.
Either way though I can't wait to grab BB hopefully in April.

Re: Say Backbreaker Does Become A Big Hit...

Even though Ian and Phil are moving this team fast, I am already going back to 2k5. This patch stuff is ridiculous. 3 2,000+ yard rushers!?!?!? 27 over 1,000.

Anyways, I can't wait for Backbreaker either.... i want a Tackle Alley demo now!
