If it doesn't have a chess match feel to it, as opposed to the simplicity of checkers, then all else is obsolete.

Ability to create a tournament. 12 team playoff or however many with first round byes etc. I tried to do this with the 2k series games and you cant replicate the playoffs. I enjoy doing that from time to time. It might be small but at least give us that option as well.

File sharing definately including uniform and field options because this will be one of the most important aspects of this game without the NFL Liscense.

I want the customization level to be borderline ignorant. By this I mean the logos and color schemes available should be a line here or a swoop there off from the actual NFL logo. BB make sure you dot your I's and cross your T's to avoid a lawsuit but when I'm done editing my team, numbers, player names, and stadium it should look eerily close to my Philly Eagles you follow.

If they use a Forza style logo editor with 100+ layers... They should be set.

realistic stats in franchise would be nice, w/ mvp etc. and a wide range of players w/ great skills and mediocre and diff types of teams like huge pass attack, defensive killer, run team etc. and balanced as well. I just want playing diff teams to feel different.

Probably kind of external but if they added some sort of commissioned soundtrack and remixes like APF did with Z-Trip and Madden does with Sean Spence, that'd be pretty cool.
