I think it looks pretty silly - but I also don't really care all that much. I just want it to play well. If it plays well it could very well be a big game changer in sports.

The uniforms aren't that great but I'm still excited about this game's potential. Personally I think pads will get smaller instead of bigger in the future, we already see this happening. There will be some type of active repulsion nano technology that will allow pads to be small but give you the same protection as a much bigger pad.

Been following the game since it was announced and the players have taken a huge step and I personally love the "future" look.

I like the look, but this game's "future" will be about innovative gameplay.

Player models... meh.

Plus, absolutely zero bodies on the sideline, and no referees. Seems hard to have any sort of atmosphere with that much missing detail.

How have some of you played past Madden's? The things you are critiquing Backbreaker about is quite hypocritical if you enjoy Madden.

You have to realize that this is NM's first football game, so they are working on the basics (gameplay, features, etc) not the aesthetics.

I'm fine with them foregoing extensive sidelines, if they can give us a great football experience. In other games it's tough to appreciate the effort put into things such as sidelines when the gameplay isn't all that good.
