    Backbreaker Preview (Gamepro)

Gamepro has posted their hands-on preview of Backbreaker.

"With its use of the Euphoria engine to put the player on the field and wealth of customization options, Backbreaker has the potential to become a football game that offers something a bit different from other games in its genre."

    Re: Preview from GamePro

"Rather than relying on canned animations -- the same tackles, hits, blocks, and play reactions over and over again -- every single thing that happens in our game involving any sort of physical collision is worked out live, on the fly, and will never be repeated again."

    Another good review.

I didn't know euphoria was also in the blocking as well.

Yeah, watch that 1st play on IGN's defense video. The defender gets chip blocked twice before getting in on the play. No suction, but a real chip that slows him up. I've never seen that before.

dont like the sound of the controls, not sure about the right stick to pass the ball. But i dont want to bash it because ive never tried it, this game is def a try before you buy game because its so new and different that it could be either really good or really bad.

I'm not worried about the controls. They said they were gonna make the controls very easy to use. Its nothing that time wont fix. All that matters to me is that we're finally getting the next gen football game that we've all dreamed about and I cant wait to buy it day one.
