OS Front Page Polls Show Madden/EA Have A Lot To Worry About

It's all in the numbers-some might get 2 or 3 of the games, but if BB puts out a good game, EA will be shaking.

Not totally, because the uninformed accounts for a lot of Madden sales, but this poll definitely means something.

I'm going to laugh when this game is exposed for the atrocity that it really is. I think people are so caught up in the EA hate that just by seeing a new game everyone spazzes out about it. The tackling system might be nice but sorry, no falling for this crap.

You have a point, but based on the videos I've watched, I can't say I'm too impressed! The game shouldn't be called BackBreaker, it should be called "Caveman football" because it'll be exactly that. A simplistic, narrow-minded game showing off its uber tackling skills with nothing else to offer.

Oh, and by the way, the camera is almost as bad as the Superstar cameras in Madden.

How did the intense Backbreaker fans invade the poll? Sign up for OS and then vote? I don't agree with deceptive methods but I appreciate your passion!!

XL, you need to look at this video, before you completely close the door on BB.

I've been a member since 2007 actually if you looked. But I won't argue any longer, don't want to get another thread closed haha.

But like I said earlier, I never said BBs physics engine wasnt good, its outstanding. Im talking about football in general and what the game has to offer. I think once everyone gets over the engine, then theyll realize that BB is just another mediocre attempt at a football game.

Come on. It has nothing to do with EA hate for a lot of us. This is the first completely brand new football game in about 6 years or more. That's something to get excited about just being someone who loves football.

Because we've had polls open for the entire Internet, not just OS reg'd for years. That will change very soon tho. No worries.

Backbreaker will be the first attempt at a real next-gen football game, IMHO. I love the idea of NCAA and Madden NFL football games, but for me they just don't live up to my standards of what real football should be like.

Just ask Tim Tebow. Watch this video. He exposed Madden NFL games for what they are and he is going to the NFL. He hates mediocrity as well.

I understand your excitement, as I was a huge 2K football fan before EA bought the rights. But your post proves my point that this game is getting so much attention because its not made by EA. And Im afriad that everyone is going to be let down by BB, expecting a brand new and revolutionary game when it wont be.

Of course, I could be wrong. We'll see how it turns out.
