those posted demo release dates might be wrong....and us PS3 owners might be getting the game at the same time actually...

the process might take 1 to 2 weeks before it is on Live or PSN..

Actually it's good news for ps3 owners the demo for them was due to be released 1 week AFTER the actual release date.

While it doesn't change the date for the 360, glad ps3 owners will get a chance at seeing this before buying.

Let's hope we all get a good game on both systems!

Maybe the BB team will be able to pull some magic and get Sony/MS to put the demo out quickly. It's highly unlikely but it would be awesome if the demo came out with the next round of updates for PSN/Live.

Well, it's their first game, it has to pass certification, any problems and we all probably won't get the demo until after it's released.

as long as it hets 1-2 days before the retail i will be happy. Wont take long to get a feel for the game IMHO....Either buy or wait for me based on how the DEMO plays.

But after the customization video....95% sure i will grab it...IF...IF the AI is competant.

A Demo is a good accomplishment by Natural Motion. They have been building Backbreaker from the ground up for nearly 3 years. Implementing an entirely new engine for a sports game. The demo is a good marketing tool for Backbreaker regardless of when it becomes public.

That's in MS and Sony's hands now. The sooner the better. How the demo plays will be vital towards the game's success.

IMO they'd be completely and utterly stupid to release the demo before the game drops. There are so many people pissed at Madden who will buy this, but if there's a demo there's a shot they might not.

Business wise it's smarter for them to delay the demo IMO. For us it's better to have it ASAP so we know if we hate the game or not.

I'd be more likely to impulsively buy the game when it's released if the demo is not out before then.

If the demo hits before then, and we also find out that franchise mode is barely worth being called that, then I'll probably pass altogether.

This should be interesting in 2 ways. We actually get to play (ps3) this before it ships. And, we'll see how quick MS and Sony are at getting things out.

There are still a lot of people who probably don't even know Backbreaker is being made. It is wise for NM to release a demo to raise consumer awareness about their product. I doubt they're worried about turning people off from the game, they probably have plenty of confidence in their product to the point of where they hope the demo will draw in more fans.

I completely agree with you. There's probably a bunch of us who won't buy the game without trying the demo. I know I'm not cracking and getting it opening day if the demo doesn't drop before retail release.

Really??? After years of only playing Madden for a football game, a completely different cam view, and physics based instead of animation I am expecting it to take awhile.
You will be diving all around the ball carrier because in madden you just need to go near him and it triggers an animation. It ain't so easy anymore. Thank God.
