How does this game handle its franchise mode?

Let's break this down. There are 2 franchise modes, one is your standard, multiple season franchise mode. Draft, trades, stats. Not sure about salaries or a salary cap. Lots of unknowns still, really.
In regards to progression, it's game to game based on a 'player form' system. It's unknown what happens between seasons at this point.
I'm assuming it keeps track of stats, and I sure hope it does, being a stat freak myself.
Road to BB is the other franchise mode and as far as I know in there you earn credits and can buy better players, but the other parts of it are still in question.

Jury is still out, but we will find out on 6/1/10.

But there are FA in the off-season...and there are MULTIPLE seasons.

Road to BB plays out like soccer to a point. You start in an 8 team DIvision 3 league and have to work your way up...Top 3 teams move up a divison...etc. This mode interests me the most. Something quite differant.
