    NFL Number Restrictions?

I've looked through the Info thread and I saw nothing that answered my question, so I'll ask it here:

Are there number restrictions on positions like the NFL? Or is it like the NCAA and no number is restricted to a position.

I'm talking about something like this:
    • Quarterbacks, placekickers and punters: 1–19
    • Wide Receivers: 10–19 and 80–89
    • Running backs and defensive backs: 20–49
    • Offensive linemen: 50–79
    • Linebackers: 50–59 and 90–99, or 40–49 if all are taken
    • Defensive linemen: 50–79 and 90–99
    • Tight ends: 80–89, or 40–49

    Answers will be much appreciated!

That's actually a good question. I kind of hope it isn't too restricted because I want to make my high school football league and my teams RB wore #6 so there would be problems.

No idea. No info has been released about it.
I'd prefer that they go with the NCAA way and have no restrictions.

I don't see why there would be a restriction on this in BB.

Idk but I'm a wide receiver in Backbreaker (PIP) and my number is 18.

As far as I understand it, I believe the NFL allowed wide receivers to wear numbers 10-19 since 2004. Linebackers are also allowed to wear 40-49.

From all the videos I've seen, it looks like there is the NFL number restriction present.

The RB Sexton wore 27 and the QB Merger wore 10. All the receivers were wearing numbers in the 80-89.

I mean i can see the stock rosters going by that guideline, but I don't see the need to restrict it from specific customization.

Here are the NFL guidelines via Google if anyone is interested - http://www.jt-sw.com/football/pro/in...ts/0-jers-nums

One of the PiP guys is a WR who wears #5, so I doubt it's restricted.

I really hope there aren't any restrictions. They would just be unnecessary in my opinion.

                    Re: NFL Number Restrictions?

With all the customization they're giving us, it honestly wouldn't make any sense to have number restrictions. Name your team anything you want, perfectly replicate real logos if you have skill... but you can't have a QB wear 22? Yeah... I just don't see them being stupid like that.
