Lob Pass

I can't do a lob pass. I keep trying and trying in the training camp mode.


Anyone have any tips on how to do a lob pass?

I was having problems as well until I realized you have to flick back and up very quickly. Don't hold the stick when you take it back at all before you flick up which is what I was doing before I figured out. If that isn't the issue I don't know what to tell you. Hope that helps.

it took me a couple tries
instead of doing the looping motion they show you try just going straight back and up it think that worked for me

Just came to see if someone had already asked. I wouldn't have known it meant for us to flick real quick. The controls definitely take some getting used to, but man when you do figured them out it is great and feels so fresh and fun.

Love the training so far. If the rest of the demo is as fun this may become a definite purchase rather than the wait and see it was for me before. Money is tight for me these days, so have to be selective, but man I am impressed so far.

Anyways, thanks for the answer on this. Going to give it another try now as I was completely the passes, just not as a lob.

I got the lob part down I'm just waiting for the explosion from that apparent missle/bomb that's in the air. lol

I was trying to figure this out as well, so its a quick flick? Sounds like it should be the opposite IMO. I mean "lob" pass

I haven't tried it yet, but there is a alternate control scheme in the settings that you can change to where it's Press A for Lob, Hold A for Bullet, and X, B cycle through receivers.


I think I'm going to switch that control scheme because the lobs are not working well for me and several times I have had mishaps throwing the ball while trying to switch receivers with the stick.

I used the configuration above and found it easier to pass all together, let alone a lob.

I wish there was a way to have that control scheme when passing and the alternate when running and playing defense.
