Team Name Ideas

Well "Backbreaker" was enough to bring me back to OS (Last year's Madden 10 issues and the quality of, as well as obstacles to discourse, were proving to much of a hassle). Anyway I'm loving the demo and I'm actually pretty enthusiastic about creating my own league (Although we'll see how good a logo artist I am). With all the off-field crimes going on in the NFL (rape, DWI, theft, abuse etc..) and greedy owners (build me a stadium or I'm going to LA), I welcome the chance to just enjoy football. So l look upon my league as my own bit of escapism.

Anyway, the reason for this post is to solicit suggestion for great team names and logos. My creativity is not what it used to be so I'd like to know what others plan on doing.

Brooklyn Cyclones (Rollercoaster Logo)
St. Louis 66ers (Highway Shield)
New Jersey Breakers (a splashing wave)
Los Angeles Stars (A star and a film reel)
San Francisco Gold Rush (Pick and a Shovel)
Cleveland Crusaders
New Orleans Jazz (Musical football notes)
Richmond Rebels
Honolulu Volcanos

Anyway I'm kind of getting into this. Can't wait for the game.

I am still on the fence about the game but if there's one thing that will convince me to buy it, that's a full customizable uniform editor and logo design mode. Something like they have in Forza 2/3. Because I love to think of different uniform ideas and team names. I have a couple ones stored in the bank in case I do get Backbreaker, but I'm not telling right now. One of them is a bit out there, at least compared to conventional ways of naming a team.

I have for years on Madden created entire leagues and I am excited for this game. I have some college teams, some old high school teams, a California division (since it's so big) and a U.S. Military division. Here are all the teams that will carry over and I will probably need a few more to finish the league.

You can make teams from anywhere you want, you aren't restricted to the US...

This is so lame but I am going to make a team called the SuperSonics. They will be comprised of characters from Sonic the Hedgehog. I will be naming all the characters after sonic characters. Sonic will of course be runningback, knuckles probably linebackers, tails will be QB... as far as the rest, who konws.

I know, super lame, but I will be letting my inner child out. Anyone have any ideas for the city? I was thinking maybe "Green Hill Zone SuperSonics" but that might be too long.
