Can a Reciever BOBBLE the ball...and are their legit fumbles?

I was curious if recievers can actually bobble a ball thrown to them instead of always simply catching it....if not, would this be a complicated process to design into the physics engine that would rely on too many variables?

Also was wondering if anyone has seen legitimate fumbles where a ball is jarred loose on a hit or contact rather than just a backwards incomplete pass?

    I have seen normal fumbles.

As far as "bobbling" goes. There isn't a specific "bobble" animation, but I've seen a receiver miss a catch that bounces off his hands/head/chest, and then he catches it after the rebound.

Just had a play where a pass hit the recievers shoulder pad, bounced into and out of his hands, deflected off a defenders arm and I was right there to scoop it up for an INT. I think the reason the reciever missed it was because his defender was on him like glue so he didn't have a perfect line of sight for the ball coming at him.

I don't think I've seen a WR catch it, then bobble and drop it though. Defelections are mainly what I'm seeing. I haven't seen any RB fumble a ball yet. I was concerned watching early vids of BB that there would be too many so I'm glad that's not the case. But I think they do need to increase.

I have seen WRs bobble the ball and then finally catch it, bobble it and get hit and lose it, bobble it and then the DB catches it. I have also seen just a few fumbles. Some have been backwards passes and others have been from RBs getting hit hard and the LB putting the helmet on the ball. Also, I have seen a TE catch the ball, turn and take one step and get smacked and the ball went flying out of his possession.

I haven seen them bobble the ball and then run right smack into a defender losing the ball in the process.

I just had a play where the TE was wide open on a 10 yd in pattern and the ball bounced off his hands into his chest and he dropped it.

there is no such thing as a backward incop. pass a backwards pass that hit the ground is a fumble.

I've seen a couple of vids on here with the ball getting jarred loose with hands, arms, and elbows. I've also seen helmets knock the ball clean out of the RB's grasp. That's right, put your helmet on the ball.

I havent put much time into the demo but I did see a WR flat out drop the ball. It hit him in his hands. I thought for sure when I threw the ball it was an easy TD because the defender was 10 yards behind him. The QB under threw it and the WR turned back to catch it on his outside left knee and it bounced right out of his hands.

imo, its a weird feeling when a receiver drops a catchable pass in this game.....

you work so hard in this game....to move around in the pocket and not get sacked....to focus and find the open man.......to complete a key pass.....and then your dummy TE just drops it...

It almost feels like when Vernon Davis used to drop passes a couple of years ago....you are like COME ON MANNNNNN We needed that..... *sigh*

I haven't had it happen often, but when it does...it is pretty disheartening.
