Well.. As you can see the receivers arms are being jostled upward, so he really couldn't do anything. He was basically being man-handled, I guess.

Ha Ha Ha! AWESOME! It is funny how people want to pick this play apart. I played real football from peewee all the way through high school. These plays DO happen. It is not a "glitch" for a WR to go up and having bad timing on a ball, and a linebacker to reach around and take the ball from him. It is not a penalty unless the LB is interfering BEFORE the ball gets there. I think the animation for this play is so damn amazing.

In fact I am amazed at all of the animation on the play, it is so refreshing to see the OL holding their blocks and no suction blocking that we are all used to. BB is not perfect by any means, but man the little things it does sure gives me some hope for the future of football on video game systems.

Yeah, would have been PI. You cant go through a WR to make a catch, WR did try and catch it but he was forced upwards by the defender... before the catch, which by definition would be PI.

Ignoring the PI, and the defender one hand catching a ball he can't see, and the WR then falling onto the ball being held in one hand but it's not knocked loose, it's a really cool video.

Cool for the engine, bad if you want any kind of realistic football though.

Yeah you have those crazy plays that happen in real football, that make the ESPN highlight reel. Probably was interference. I think overall the animation was handled well for a video game.
