So do players progress?

I created a team and named all of the players. How do I make my players get better? I don't want to replace my friends with random computer guys, I want my guys to get better. Thanks!

PS I am in RTBB mode.

Re: So do players progress?

Nope, I don't see any way to spend credits to improve players.

It seems that you just get credits to buy new players. I almost have enough to buy a great QB. I guess the only option is to rename your new player if possible.

So I got a new gold player but I couldn't rename him.
I don't know how I feel about that. I guess I will just have an exhibition team with all of my player names and a RTBB team for new drafted players.

I would hope that in RTBB whenever you get promoted to the next division your players stats would improve. It would be really tough to go into a league with teams all rated in the 50's with your team still rated in the 30's.

P.S. Does anyone know if RTBB still has the college draft at the end of each season? or is that only in Season mode?

No draft, but you will have a new pool of free agents to select. The only thing I don't like is that I specifically designed my team after my own personal team. Now I have to replace my friends with random FA's. I would have rather them progressed

Re: So do players progress?

Season Mode is cool, but you have to play every game, no sim.

Player's Form fluctuate's depending on their play.

My QB was playing aweful and his Form dropped and the CPU started my second stringer over him.

Just trying to figure out, why we have so many WR's when there are no sets with more than 3 on the field.
