Two Bills Agree

According to them, the game turned out exactly how I thought it would. There was no way this game was going to be as polished on the gameplay side as it would be on the physics side. In other words, this game screams tech demo.

People that want to buy the game to support the developer make sense. People that want to claim that the average Joe is going to be pleased with this effort are largely misguided.

If you don't want to muck about in the details, here's the most precise analogy I can give you: Backbreaker is like dating an incredibly hot woman who has a constant problem with passing gas.

That's probably the closest way to describe my Backbreaker experience I've found anywhere.

Re: Two Bills Agree

I never have understood reviews and the people that take them to heart. If you want a fair and accurate review of Backbreaker, translate the Eurogamer one. It goes through pros and cons in depth. All these other reviews aren't reviews... they are simply harping on one or two negative aspects over and over...

These two reviewers are considered one of the best reviewers for sports games.

Well then that makes their opinion much more valid... actually, it doesn't. If you like the game, you like it, if not, you don't. Relying on what someone else thinks is entirely ignorant and is a big part of what is wrong with the world today, not just in video games, but in all sorts of markets, world ideas, etc...

Re: Two Bills Agree

I 100% agree with the dubiousquality review, I really hope they can iron out these AI issues. I have plenty of other games to play while I wait, at least I've made my contribution to the Backbreaker 2 cause. Also there is nothing ignorant about relying on reviews from trusted sources to make a purchasing decision, in fact i'd call it being an educated consumer.

Nah, cause according to some users on here, if it isn't mostly positive, then its a bad review (and I bought the game, so don't go there)

Re: Two Bills Agree

Yeah, Dubious pretty much nailed it with his review. Let's hope the devs listen to these reviews and get the major problems fixed asap.
