Easy onside kicks

Pick the regular kickoff formation, not the onside kick formation. Just adjust the kick meter so you are kicking all the way to the right and make it so you are kicking the ball as high as possible. Now simply flick the right stick down and do not hold it at all. The kicker will kick the ball way up high into the air, press A and you will automatically switch to your player that is running straight toward the ball. If done correctly you can tackle the player of the opposing team who is set to catch the kick. Tackle him before he does and your teammates will recover the ball. It works about 85% of the time when there isn't wind or really low wind. It does work with wind as long it's blowing against you. I don't know if it works agaist human players or not because I haven't been able to try.

Edit: I'm not looking to exploit this, was just hoping the right people will see it and patch the height/distance on kick offs.

Re: Easy onside kicks

I tried alot of traditional onsides and the CPU players have sticky hands. Would love to see an occasional fumble and pile-up.

Yeah, I saw the sticky hands thing too. 3 or 4 times the ball warped right to the hands of the player fielding the kick.

Re: Easy onside kicks

This cheese was used on me online last night every time my opponent kicked off. the worst part is they can knock the only player you'll have in position to field it down making it almost guarented the kicking team gets the ball back. I personally don't think this cheese should be shared for everybody to exploit

Yeah it was a top five player on the leaderboards. He used every known exploit in the game

Re: Easy onside kicks

its not as easy as it sounds...the wind has to be PERFECT or else it will go a yard or 2 too long and they will catch it before you can get to them, however if the wind is pushing in your face just enough, this DOES work if you tackle the catcher before he can catc it but its not as easy as it sounds and probably only happens 2/10 times you try it
