1. Tune the pass rush to give the QB 1 or 2 extra seconds
2. Tune QB accuracy enough to make 80-89 focus QBs at least serviceable
3. GREATLY lower catch rate for DBs
4. FIX THE LAG

1-3 seem like they should be quick and easy tweaks that would make a world of difference. I don't know if 4 is possible but it sure would be great.

I'd find a way to patch in some comprehensive per-position sliders and give players the ability to try and fix stuff rather than have them try and retune things on their own if this is what they thought was ideal on release.

1. Make the offensive line stronger, defensive line weaker.
2. Make QBs a little more accurate.
3. Make DBs drop less/ swat more balls.

Doing this should help both the CPU's run and pass games. If they did that, then I would never quit playing this.

When I'm playing as a corner or Safety I don't want my guy to automatically go after the ball, I want the option to either go for the big hit or swat the ball. Too many times I've been in perfect position to lay a fool out only to have the game sent me into an interception animation and let the receiver fly right by me.

Improve the CPU offense. There is obviously other things that were listed so far I would like to see as well, but this is first and foremost for me. Just find a way to make the CPU more effective and cut down on CPU QB AI interceptions.

I can live with the other things and be happy with the game offline if the CPU offense gives me more of a challenge, whichever way that is accomplished.
