Nothing More Satisfying.....

This has to be one of the most satisfying games I've ever played. Everything from meeting a back in the hole to breaking a big run to turning a slant into a big play has a rewarding feeling. That's a big thing that keeps me coming back to this game. Also nothing better than racing down the sideline w/ defenders closing in on you w/ the perfect angle only to stiff arm one and spin around the other, then show boat down the field because you just made the most awesome play only to be hit from behind, fumble, and watch the other team recover it to seal the game.

The more I play it, the more I like it! Even if nothing else comes of this game, I'd like to thank 505 games for giving me the realest thing to football I've ever played.

But there's nothing less satisfying then trying to run to the outside only to have your blocker stop right in front of you and knock you CLEAN off your feet like he's a brick wall. Or to try to run right up the gut(middle of the offensive line) only to have your RB/FB collapse without even making a clear effort to push the pile (which seems impossible in BB). The euphoria engine might need some tweaks.

I do think the game is alright at best but those two problems happen very frequently because I absolutely love to run the ball. But it definitely hinders a runningback's ability when "everyone is against you."

Your right, and now if the patch can repair some of the issues this game presents. Then BB will be a great game.

Im creating my NFL teams. Only 10 more to go and once this patch is out Im off to make my NFL season on BB.

Playing defense in this game really feels like your playing that position. Like you I really enjoy what they did right in this game.

That would be nice if a few of those posters would actually do this, but some people on this forum are allowed to get away with constant negative trolling. They fill up every thread with crap. Its gotten old.

Great post I agree completely. Shiz we need to get a few games in. I am loving this game as long as I am playing vs a human opponent.

Yeah,I'm enjoying this game alot now.I'm thinking of releasing a file with edits I made.The CPU is very challnging.They're running the ball effectively and throwing an avg. of 2 int's while racking up 250-300 yrds. consistently on 10 min. qtrs. with a 60 second playclock(which I have to milk a little to get a good amount of plays in).

I'm getting better at playing the game so I'm ending up liking it a lot more every time I play.

I really like the feeling of being in the pocket as QB and trying to find the open receiver- it's a challenge.

this game is nice once you learn how to play it. the run game is beautiful when you learn how to use the sticks. you can use the left stick for great cut back moves or small settle moves the left stick is pressure sensitive. i love football and i get that same feeling of being on the field when playin this game. i love the power game in BB, three yards and a cloud of dust has never felt so good. if every one just gave this game some time and learned the controls and learned how you truely play football and not the way football video games use to be played. at first i thought the jook move on the right stick was the only way to make a defender miss in the whole, but then i realized that you can make a defender miss with the left stick to, the left stick truely controls the feet of your player. now i only use the right stick for a open field move. and the passing game is becomeing more clear also. im learning when thowing passes that you totally control the touch that you put on the pass. its a timing mechanism, meaning when you spot your receiver and you go in to your throwing motion you now have to feel what type of pass would be best. like if i want to lead my receiver to the middle of the off of a slant move the the receiver was running, then rite before the release of the ball you have to give the stick a little nudge towards the middle of the field, but you have to make sure that your receiver has made his break. theres alot more to the passing game but that will give you a understanding of how to put the ball where you want it. the quarter back that your using also determines how much touch you need on the pass. just really concentrate on your movements with sticks and watch how your feel for the game becomes second nature. if that patch does its job we will be in for the best football experience ever, period.

this game is the best football game made to date hands down.........WHEN it gets it right.

Honestly it can be a thing of pure beauty, and obviously as has been mentioned a million times, it has some flaws but the good out weighs the bad for me.

Looking forward to the patch!

Man, I just had a very satisfying defensive play. I was controlling the ROLB and there was a sweep headed toward my direction. The HB had nothing but green in front of him, and he attempted to spin. At that very instant I dropped my shoulder and just crushed him right in the back. If I didn't make that play, he could have made it to the house. I really wish that I could capture that play, because I doubt that I will ever see anything like that again.

i swear the manual needs to do a better job of describing how much more control the player has when running...

AGGRESSIVE MODE + DOWN RS. You'll be be pushing the pile in no time.

Also, don't hit the line so quick. Press down on LS 3/4 of the way until you find the hole. And unless you are doing Protect ball function, for christs sake, DON'T USE AGGRESSIVE MODE!!. Not until you are in open field, that is.
