All I can say is WOW!!!
U can really tell that alot of people want to see this game succeed. It has been quiet for a long time here. People r patiently awaiting the patch. We should remember this period in time as "The Patch". It's like, everyone knows that if this patch works well, the football gaming market is gonna be shaken up more than it has been for a long time. But back on point, I say wow 'cause any1 else would be ridiculed to death for the patch wait time. I guess we all sense something good on the way.Tags: None -
Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
I'd say depending on what the patch accomplishes the BB team should focus on marketing this game a bit more. At this point, a small community of people know about this game unless they follow sports gaming or hear it by word of mouth. While it is a good game in many respects, it simply needs exposure in order for it to thrive. -

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
With ncaa going strong and madden coming soon, this patch better solve all on field issues.. or like dude said, this game is dead.Comment

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
The patch is going to have mixed reviews because people want different things. The one major thing that people can agree on is the CPu's offense. If that can be fixed it will give the game some post Madden life... but really arent we going to go through the same thing with Madden anyway?Comment

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
If Madden has some major problems at release (highly unlikely hugely being a reissue of '10), and BB's patch fixes CPU offenses woes, I could see lots of defectors coming this way. Problem is... will these be new package buyers or used package buyers.Comment

Agreed. They must do a better job marketing this game. If the patch does wonders the word will spread and hopefully hype them up enough to market BB2 a lot more aggressively.I'd say depending on what the patch accomplishes the BB team should focus on marketing this game a bit more. Same here. I really like the potential this game has, and Im just waiting on the patch.
Very true, but that will change when the novelty of Madden wears off, and gamers want to try something new, and a solid patch for BB would really be a good thing to contribute to gamers giving this game a shot.
That is so far from being true. BB must never use a traditional camera. BB showed me and many others why the BB camera is great, it just needs some fine tuning for the passing game.
A little higher and wider and all will be fine.Simply *Magic* Just click the link and Watch :)

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
Agree with you 100%...like it or not, appreciate BB for what it is or not, they have to give you a better cam option or forget about it competing with anything. I like the game for what it is, but I find myself getting pummeled or throwing a pass and not being able to see a defender and it costing me big time and it gets frustrating.
The control is so tight, the game play is so cool...it just seems like we're missing out on sooo much be having limited viewing options. I've played NCAA for a week now and popped in BB last night to compare and it was like a breath of fresh air...and I was actually liking NCAA...but the control just isn't as tight as BB. Nor is it as fun as BB.
Cam options and smarter CPU AI are a "must" for the patch. If they address those two things, they have a delivered a "keeper". As it is, BB is the best football experience against a human opponent online..problem is there isn't many of them out there to play with. I honestly think "the patch" could invigorate the game to bolster sales and this game could have legs far beyond the typical annual football release.Comment

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
...and this will take about two weeks (novelty of Madden wearing off) if history is any indication. I think consumers are starting to catch up to EA's game...I mean seriously, their games don't change all that much from year to year, my experience with NCAA this year isn't any different than years past and it's taken about a week for the "newness" to wear off and now I've come to the realization that I basically have the same game I bought last year. I won't be buying Madden this year after my experience NCAA...
Most of my gaming friends, many of which are die hard football fans, don't even buy Madden (or NCAA) anymore and I don't blame them.Comment

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
^^ Two weeks?? The game will still be in its hot sells period then. Really I don’t even think Madden has much of a novelty anymore its just a decent too good game with an insanely marketable license.

Re: All I can say is WOW!!!
I meant it takes about two weeks to get sick of the game and to discover everything that makes you mad about it, regardless of when you buy it. Maybe I have a short attention span or are overly pessimistic??? Or maybe it's just the played out engine of Madden???
Its' funny cuz I find myself "rediscovering" BB in ways that I never have with other games. I pick it up, enjoy it, put i down and repeat. If they iron out a few of the glaring problems with the game they'll be gold...and I'll be way happy.Comment
