Javier Vazquez finally found his groove as he would pitch 6 innings with four strikeouts and two unearned runs. Mike Maddux would give up the third unearned run on a passed ball by Chris Widger in the 8th.
On the other side for Milwaukee, Cal Eldred would pitch 6 and 2/3 innings with two runs including a home run from Brad Fullmer who continues to hit well. The Brewers bullpen would shut things down not allowing a run in 2 and 1/3 innings with only one hit and two walks given up.
The Brewers would only have three hits but six walks at timely situations allowed them to get baserunners and runs in to win the game. For the Expos, Fullmer finished 2-4 with a double and a home run.

Shane Andrews would be the walk off hero for the Expos as he singled in the bottom of the 9th to score Vladimir Guerrero. Both starting pitchers struggled as Brewers' pitcher Steve Woodard would only pitch 4 innings with five earned runs on five hits and two walks. Carl Pavano for the Expos would go 6 and 1/3 innings, but give up four runs on three home runs.
Brad Fullmer has continued his great stretch for the Expos as he would go 3-4 with two doubles, a home run, and five RBIs. Vladimir Guerrero would be no slouch himself. He would finish 3-5 with a double, a triple, an RBI, and three runs scored.
The Brewers hitting would be led by Jeff Cirillo who would go 2-4 with a double and a home run with two RBIs. Mark Loretta and Brian Banks would also add home runs for the Brewers.
Montreal looks to get their first series win of the season tomorrow.
