Okay I started one of these last year but it died because I didn't really have time to update it. I'm going to try to get this one going. As you can see the title doesn't have a team because I will be using many different teams and likely won't be finishing a season. I will be updating transactions by the day when the real thing starts.

Now I am just doing a few games until I get my rosters set. I am using pbz's sliders with some tweaks. Please do not post until I give the okay. Thanks!

Tampa Bay Rays VS. Baltimore Orioles

James Shields vs Koji Uehara


Well this game got off to a bad start for me when Shields gave up 2 runs in the first inning. In the next inning Gabe Kapler hits a home run off of Uehara. 2-1. Then Shields begins to settle in and Uehara continues to pitch well making this a good duel. Bottom of the 6th. My offense goes wild. I score 3 runs making it a 4-2 game. Shields is now in line for the win. I bring in Grant Balfour for the seventh and everything goes great. No Runs No hits 2ks and 3 outs. Then next inning the Orioles bring in Jim Miller. He confuses me a lot with his weird delievery and curveball that he drops in just perfectly. 3 quick outs. Joe Nelson comes in for the 8th and gets 3 quick outs. Then in the bottom 8th the mystery of Jim Miller seems to be solved with a single and a homerun to make the game 6-2. Then Percival comes in to close it out.

Minnesota Twins vs Detroit Tigers (me)

Francisco Liriano vs Rick Porcello

Well the game starts out simple with no runs but then the twins score 1 run on a single by Delmon Young. Then in the bottom of that inning I start hitting and get a single for an rbi and a sac fly. Then we an inning with nothing scored and I explode. I get a couple hits and then liriano starts walking in runs. After walking in 2 in the 4th jesse crain comes in and walks in another. Then he gets an inning ending double play. Fast forward to top 6th. Joe Crede hits a homerun to put them back in it. But my bullpen shuts them out the rest of the way and Fernando Rodney gets the save. Porcello the winner and Liriano the loser.
