This is a thread containing information regarding my MLB 09 the Show franchise with the Rockies. Throughout the thread I will have new posts containing information about the franchise such as game scores and highlights. In this franchise I will only be using created players that I have made specifically for this franchise (Except for the bullpen, which is the real Rockies bullpen apart from the closer.) Here are their names and the player I would compare them to.

Terrell Fields got the scoring started early, with an RBI single in the 2nd inning. Although 6 runs would be added throughout the game, one was all that was needed for Juan Gonzalez, as he breezed through 8 innings, allowing 5 hits and no earned runs to earn his first win of the season. Alex Ramirez hit his first homerun of the season in support of the cause. The 2nd game of the series will pit George Smith against Diamondback pitcher Max Scherzer.
