Re: Minnesota Twins (MVP Baseball 2005)

I'm interested in hearing what you guys have to say about these tables; I whipped these up in about a half hour in Open Office and personally think they're a great start, but are a bit too basic and crude. Any font, color, or size modifications can be made. Please tell me what needs to be adjusted so I can make them perfect by the time the games roll around.

Re: Minnesota Twins (MVP Baseball 2005)

nice start bro. the only thing that i'd change is to make the box score a LOT smaller, so that it's easier to see all 9 innings without having to strain your neck too much, haha, lmfao lool.

other than that, great job!

Twins' New Target Field Unveiled

The new Target Field isn't much, but is merely a beginning. New Twins owner Andrew Dellapina says of the stadium, "We're working on it, but we need money. The more people that show up to the games, the more tickets we sell, and the closer we'll be to updating it."

Target Field boasts a small frame, definitely a hitter's park. In terms of fan attractions, there are Pizza, Soda and Ice Cream Stands, along with a 'Slugger's Souvenirs' where spectators can purchase items such as Team Pennants, baseballs, and cards.

Subject: Strategies Vs. Mariners

The Mariners are currently one of the worst teams on the basepaths. Because of this, we should worry more about accuracy than velocity in the field. They're strictly a station-to-station club. Your middle infielders should be alert, as these guys hit into a lot of double plays.

Twins Announce Major League Roster

INFIELD

First Base: Mark Teixeira--Very strong switch hitter, prefers to bat against lefties. Has great power. On the defensive side, has a strong but inconsistent arm and can make routine plays at first.

Second Base: Chone Figgins--A speedy middle infielder with good contact, but little power. Great at laying down bunts to get to first. Can easily steal bases and will do so often.

Third Base: Dallas McPherson--A rather average player, nothing special on either side of the ball, but an all around average player.

Shortstop: David Eckstein--A speedy contact hitter, but severely lacking in power. David is an excellent fielder and can turn double plays with ease.

OUTFIELD

Right Field: Gary Sheffield--A solid hitter with a lot of power, Gary can make big plays on both sides of the ball.

Center Field: Scott Podsednik--An extremely fast player who leads off the order and can steal bases with the utmost convenience.

Left Field: Randy Winn: A solid switch hitter, preferring righties, Winn can hold his own on the basepaths.

The problem with that is Ryan Howard is awful in this game since he's so young. It really wouldn't benefit me. Plus, so far McPherson's been making great plays at third for tag outs.

Yeah, I changed it to replace singles doubles and triples with hits, runs and RBIs.
