Twins Sold To Avid Fan, Fantasy Draft Approaching

Minneapolis, MN--Carl Pohlad sold the Minnesota Twins today to Andrew Dellapina, a New Jersey native. "I'm getting too old for this," commented Pohlad, "and Jim[his son] doesn't seem to show much interest in running the team operations."

Andrew's first task as Owner and self-appointed GM will be to build up his roster. Of his plans, Andrew commented, "I can't give my strategy away, but you'll definitely see a strong team out there. I'm confident we'll have a solid core of fielders and starting pitchers."

His second order of business will be to oversee the construction of Target Stadium, primarily envisioned by Carl Pohlad. "Instead of waiting years to have it built," said Andrew, "We'll start small and build it up."

We'll be reporting back tomorrow after the draft.
