Seattle blows out Texas again, look for sweep
AT.
(0-2) Texas Rangers AT. Seattle Mariners (2-0)

Adrian Beltre went 5 for 5 with 5 ribis

TEX l 2 l 0 l 1 l 1 l 0 l 1 l 0 l 2 l 0 l 7 l 16 l 0
SEA l 4 l 2 l 0 l 0 l 0 l 5 l 0 l 0 l X l 11 l 18 l 0
W- Jarrod Washburn (1-0) L- Brandon McCarthy (0-1) S- None

Seattle- The M's have blown out the Rangers for the 2nd game in a row and will look to make it three straight and look for a sweep

Adrian Beltre led the way in this blowout. Adrian Beltre went 5 for 5 and driving in 5 of the 11 runs. Jose Vidro also had rbis. He went 2-5, going deep once with 3 rbis Yuinesci Betancourt also went deep and had a rbi. Ibanez also went deep which was the difference maker in the game.

The Rangers were led by young Catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia. He hit a 2R HR. Ramon Vazquez also hit a homerun. Vasquez leads the team in homeruns with two. Hank Blalock was the last one to hit a homerun.

Jarrod Washburn got his 1st win of the season. However he allowed 5 Earned runs on 10 Base hits. The bullpen helped Washburn get that win. Sean Green & White combined for 4 Innings pitched 6 hits allowed & 2 Earned runs & 2 strikeouts

Brandon McCarthy did not have a good day. He went 2 Innings, 6 Runs allowed and 9 base hits. The bullpen was even worst than the Washburn. They allowed 9 base hits & 6 earned runs.

Next games pitching matchup is rook Derek Holland against Veteran Miguel Batista. Seattle looks for the sweep

Bullpen cannot hold on to Hollands' quality start, M's sweep Rangers after Lopezs' walk off
AT.
(0-3) Texas Rangers AT. Seattle Mariners (3-0)

Lopez hit the walk off HR to give his team a win & a sweep

TEX l 0 l 0 l 0 l 2 l 1 l 0 l 0 l 0 l 0 l 3 l 8 l 0
SEA l 0 l 0 l 1 l 0 l 0 l 0 l 1 l 1 l 1 l 4 l 11 l 0
W- Sean Green (1-0) L- Joquain Benoit (0-1)

Rangers cannot seal the deal, lose 4-3
Seattle- Derek Holland pitched on heck of a debut. Some analyst said that Holland pitched like he's been here for 5 years. In his debut, he 7 strong innings only allowing 2 Runs 1 in the 3rd inning & the other in the 7th. He also punched out 6 and only walked 1.

His opposition Miguel Batista pitched a pretty good game as well. He pitched 5 innings only allowing 3 runs on 7 base hits & punching out 2. Seattle's bullpen was fantastic which lead to a victory. Bullpen went 4 strong innings only allowing 1 hit.

The Texas Rangers took the lead in the 4th inning after back to back 2B by Kinsler & Young. The Texas Rangers then scored again in the 5th inning which Marlon Byrd scored.

The M's then scored in the 7th to make it a 3-2 game after Suzuki's 2 out 2B to score Betancourt. The Rangers and Benoit got themselves into a bases loaded jam with nobody out. Benoit struck out the next two batters. And then the pitch to the next batter was a wild pitch which scored the tying run.

The Mariners then won it in the bottom of the 9th on Lopezs' walk off HR

Series Preview

<div align="center"><a rel="nofollow" href="http://i27.tinypic.com/2mh90sm.jpg" target="_blank">View Raw Image</a>

Scott Feldman (0-0) 0.00 ERA Vs, Paul Murphy (0-0) 0.00 ERA

Game 2

Bartolo Colon (0-0) 0.00 ERA Vs. John Lackey (0-1) 10.80 ERA

Game 3

Kevin Millwood (0-0) 4.50 ERA Vs. Kelvim Escobar (0-0) 2.84 ERA

Preview: The Texas Rangers & Los Angeles Angels both would like to bounce back from there series before this one. The Rangers were outscored against Seattle 23-15. While the Los Angeles Angels lost there series to the Minnesota Twins 3-1. Texas leads the Majors in Batting Average but they have not shown any run support for there starters. Millwood pitched a very good 2008 debut, while Holland was fantastic in his major league debut, went 7 strong & fanned 6 while only allowing 2 runs & like Millwood he too got a no decision. If the Rangers want to win games they have to score some runs & there bullpen needs to do a better job blowing 2 games against the M's

Keys to success

1. Score some runs

2. Bullpen needs to hold on to games

3, Starting pitching needs to continue
