Toronto (AP) -- Toronto couldn't put enough runs on the board at home last night, as New York beat them 5-2 in a AL East contest. Dana Eveland started and took the loss , though he pitched fairly well,giving up 3 runs and 5 hits over 7 and two third innings. Joba Chamberlain was awarded the victory for the Yankees, going 6 full innings alowing 2 runs on 4 hits. Mariano Rivera got the save, his 8 consecutive this season. Helping out the plate was Edwin Encarnacion, who had a couple of hits in 2 at-bats.
