Hey guys, I'm sorry for being annoying, but I promise to stick with this one because I have now found my favorite team for sure. Again, sorry for making 3 threads.

Game: MLB 10: The Show
Difficulty: Veteran hitting and pitching.
Rosters: OSfullminorsv.1 with some tweaks.
House rules: I will try to make this realistic, if you have any suggestions go ahead and suggest because I am new to the sport of baseball and may not know if I do something wrong. I will probably ask about trades before I make them.

2010 Season Preview

Spring Training is now over and it is time to take a look at the teams starters and see how well the team will play.

Pitching:

Starters: This rotation has been somewhat questionable at times, but should be able to succeed with the offense they have behind them. Weaver and Kazmir will provide good starters and should be able to keep opposing offenses under control. Pineiro, Saunders, and Santana should be serviceable and will need to step up in order for this team to be successful.

Bullpen: This bullpen is full of potential, but it remains to be seen if they will be able to do the job. Fuentes is a proven closer and will look to continue to have success. If these relievers can play as well as Scioscia thinks they can, then this team should be able to win games.

Fielders:

Infield: This infield is full of players who can get the job done, but nobody is a real star that is going to stand out. They can all do what is asked for them and they seem to be consistent. Not much to comment on here.

Outfield: This outfield is great with Hunter and Abreu. These guys are great fielders and know the angles to take to get under the pop ups and they are constantly making plays. Rivera is good and should provide a solid starter in left field.

Offense:

Batting: This team is an offensive machine. Everyone on this teams seems like they can be a great contributor on offense and the Angels have to hope they hit as well as they can. Morales and Abreu are good power hitters that can drive the deep balls out of the park while Aybar and Hunter provide speed on the bases and can steal great. Matsui is a good veteran designated hitter that can come through in the clutch. Overall, this offense should be great.

Series Review:

Angels Lose 3, But Avoid the Sweep With Big Game 4

Anaheim, CA:This series looked great on paper and it sure delivered. Despite the Twins taking the series 3-1, every game was good and seemed to go down to the wire. Both teams kept pressure on each other and there was great plays on both sides. The Angels had a good game 1 from Jered Weaver, but were unable to give him any run support and the Angels took the 2-1 loss. In games 2 and 3, the Angels were a little better at scoring, but just couldn't keep up with the high powered Twins and lost game 2 5-4 and game 3 5-3. Game 4 was a completely different Angels team. Joe Saunders had a great outing and the Angels were able to get scores and took the game 5-1. The Angels now start a 3 game series at home against the Oakland A's.

Series Review:

Angels Take Close Series 2-1

Anaheim, CA:After a tough series with the Twins, the Angels needed to get back on track against the A's. In the first game, Ervin Santana struggled mightily allowing 4 runs in just 3 innings of action. His struggles were too much for the Angel's hitters to overcome, and they took a frustrating loss at 5-2. In the second game, Weaver got the start and he allowed 4 runs in his 7 innings of work, but the Angels were able to get a late home run by Juan Rivera to take a close win 5-4 in game 2. In the final game, Kazmir made his second start of the season and allowed 4 runs in 6 innings. The Angels offense was hot and scored 7 runs and the Angels were up 7-4 entering the top of the 9th. All start closer Fuentes came into the game and struggled at first allowing 2 runs to score, but he came through in the clutch and struck out the final 2 batters to hold on to the win.
