Carlos Beltran showed no effects of his offseason surgery as the New York Mets opened their 2010 campaign with a 12-2 victory over the Florida Marlins in Flushing, New York. Johan Santana went 8 innings for the victory. Ike Davis got his first major league hit and went 3 for 4 in his first major league game.
