The career of Dennis Eckersley (MLB 2K11)

I am going to try to recreate the career of Dennis Eckersley. I have saw some people on the board do a great job at recreating some great careers so I am going to try recreating Eck's. I want you guys to vote what team I should put Eck on so I am making a poll to see what you guys want.

voted for Indians, reason being you could always request trade or sign with one of the other teams as a free agent, and then if you have trades on the Indians could choose to trade you as well, where as you start with Oakland you could get dealt by them before you even put on an "A's" uniform...if 2K is the same as Show with moving from team to team... it slipped my mind that it said MLB 2K11 in the title, but I say still start with the Indians as I don't recall Ecks pitching in the minors for Oakland

The Indians would have been the choice for me considering he came up as a rookie pitcher for them in 1975.

Have the Indians found next dominant closer? by Dan Muggins

As many of you know, the Cleveland Indians drafted reliever Dennis Eckersley in the 7th round of the June draft. I caught up with Eck earlier today

How do you like Double-A, Dennis?

I really like it here in Akron. The people are nice and I like the feel of the city.

Do you think you are doing well?

I think I'm doing pretty well. I want to lower my WHIP and hold more runners from advancing, but I feel i'm not letting the batters i'm facing cross the plate.

Do you plan to be the Indians closer?

I would especially love to be the Indians closer, but I would be thrilled to be closer for any team.
