Kruk: One shocking division the AL East. I can't believe how the Yankees have ran away with this division. Part of the reason is their dominance inside the division. 23-8 within the division. Their rivals, Boston, have no excuse, their players have been healthy for the most part, are 11 games out. If the Yankees can play another month the way they have been playing this division is a wrap.

Millar: How about the Oakland Athletics? They have been doing it on pure pitching. Good for 7th best pitching staff in the league. And how about this? They go last week and pick up free agent Pedro Martinez. He looked excited to join this ballclub. So far after 2 starts he is 1-1, but he will be a key component down the stretch for this A's team.

Valentine: I'm looking at the standing and I'm getting chills just looking at the NL Wild Card standings. You got 5 teams in the mix all within 5 games. The Pirates and Nationals hanging in there, if they get hot and go on a run they can get closer than those 8 games that they are now. How about the team I used to manage, the New York Mets. No one expected them to be where they are, but Terry Collins has this team playing well and are.....I can't believe I'm going to say this, they are in contention ladies and gentlemen!

Ravech: As you all know, the trading deadline is July 31st. Last winter at the owners meeting, everyone agreed that no trades were going to happen before the all-star break.

Well, we are officially here and trades are now go through, the wheeling and dealing begins. Only 2 weeks to make moves. Theres rumors, theres needs. What players will most likely be moved?

Millar: You never know where certain players may end up. But according to a source, the A's are aggressively looking to get stronger at pitching. Some pitchers out there rumored to be on the trading block, Roy Oswalt, Joel Pineiro, Matt Garza, Kyle McClellan are all being scouted by the A's.

Kruk: The one guy that is being considered being traded, which at the end of the day I don't believe he will because he's too valuable to the franchise, is Albert Pujols. There have been reports that the Cubs are making a push for him. Unfortunately for the Cubbies they will need more than Fat Albert the way they've been playing this season.

Ravech: We'll take a break for a bit and come right back
