Spring Training over. Time for baseball!
Red Sox felling good about 2010
BOSTON -- For years, the Red Sox have had high expectations. And they've had some banner seasons.
But this year, expectations may be higher, especially with the additions of left fielder Carl Crawford from Tampa Bay and first baseman Adrian Gonzalez from San Diego.
"Every year I've been here we've had a great team," said second baseman Dustin Pedroia, starting his fifth season in Boston. "If we come in here and we're not feeling good about our team, there is a problem. We feel great about the team we have."
But the American League East is always a tough, competitive division.
"The Yankees are going to have a great team," Pedroia said. "The Rays have a great team. Everybody in our division is good. We're going to have to be on top of our game the whole year to accomplish what we want to."
